Welcome to our website. If this is the first time you’ve used our Electricity Bill Calculator then congratulations, you’ve just found one of the most used and useful energy bill calculation tools on the internet.
If you are a frequent visitor to our website, then let us take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for being a loyal visitor, the energy sector can be a fickle one, but we like to think we provide an invaluable and unique service to our visitors and that’s why they return time and time again.
To us, our website isn’t just some one’s and zero’s sitting on a server somewhere churning numbers, it’s a passion created from the frustration of trying to understand the sometimes-complex world of electricity bills.
Electricity should be as simplistic as a unit rate, times the number of units used but this is rarely the case for customers of the larger energy suppliers. Sometimes, unit rates can change throughout the day, standing charges need to be factored in and where does the VAT come in? So, to make it easier for people, we created our website which works all this out for you.
More recently we’ve added our Bulb Energy review and extra functionality to compare current billing with that of equivalent electricity usage on the Bulb energy tariff to further help our visitors understand what could be saved should they decide to switch suppliers.
This year, we’ll be steadily improving the website. Improving the reducing electricity bills page and adding additional information and feedback to the legendary Your Bill page to provide even more information about the price of your power.

Using our website
Using our electric bill calculator is simple. Enter your meter readings (oldest first then latest underneath) on the home page, make some tweaks to the prices you pay (for a more precise calculation) then click ‘calculate now’. It’s that easy.
Once you click the calculate button, you’ll be redirected to the Your Bill page for a detailed breakdown of your usage and electricity costs.
